Up until recently, owning a heavy duty brush cutter could only mean a compromise. Lots of cutting power usually requires a larger engine, which in turn, means more weight and reduced fuel efficiency.
Professional landscapers and gardeners might need to own both a heavy duty brushcutter PLUS a light-weight strimmer or trimmer for smaller applications.
The ECHOSRM-300TES does not compromise
A revolutionary new high-torque gearbox delivers more torque at the cutting head without the need of a large engine. This gives you the cutting power of a heavy-duty brushcutter with the benefits of a light-weight, fuel efficient, 2-stroke petrol engine.
Take a look at the product for yourself…
How does the SRM-300TES work?
The high-torque gearbox has a 1:2.07 reduction ratio. That means that the cutting head spins one-and-a-quarter times for every single engine cycle. At full throttle it can deliver upto 50% more torque at the cutting head over its predecessor (the SRM-300ES).
The SRM-300TES features the ECHO ES Easy Start system. A spring-assisted recoil reduces the effort required to start the brush cutter by up to 75%.
Intergrated vibration technology in the engine mounts and handles reduce unwanted vibration and makes the SRM-300TES brush cutter comfortable to operate for extended periods.
Independently tested by Fivesquared, a preferred consultant of local authorities and councils, the SRM-300TES was proven to have an ‘in use’ HAV level of just 4.5m/s2.
Heavy duty engine:
Like all ECHO tools, the petrol 28.1cc two-stroke engine is built to the highest specification. A hard, chrome-plated cylinder reduces ware and extends life. Heavy-duty ball bearings offer support of both sides of the crankshaft for less engine vibration and increased durability. The engine is Stage 2, low emissions compliant.
Professional 2 Year warranty:
The SRM-300TES is backed by a two-year warranty in commercial use. In domestic use, the warranty extends to five years.
Andre Gardner, Grounds Manager at Bridgwater College stated “It just feels right. It’s lightweight, compact and manoeuvrable, has excellent power-to-weight ratio and the balance is perfect. The cutting head glides around where you want it to go.”
